About

A tiny arcade, built by hand

Webmaster & More Games is the playground of a small Los Angeles web studio. Every cabinet here is handwritten code — and every one of them is free.

Why a web studio runs an arcade

We're Webmaster & More, a boutique three-person team that designs, builds, and maintains websites for small businesses. Between client projects we kept sketching little games — and instead of letting them die in a folder, we gave them a home.

The arcade earns its keep two ways. First, it's an honest portfolio: anyone can view-source a game here and see exactly how we write code — no page builders, no plugins stacked on plugins, no mystery. Second, it keeps our tools sharp. A browser game is a brutal little test of performance, input handling, and design taste, and shipping one end-to-end is the same discipline as shipping a client site.

The house rules

  • Everything is handwritten. Vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. No game engines, no frameworks, no third-party libraries.
  • Everything is fast. Each game is a single small page. Most weigh less than one photo on an average website.
  • Everything is free. No downloads, no sign-ups, no accounts. Open the page and play — on desktop or on your phone.
  • Nothing follows you around. Scores are saved on your own device. Our only measurement is a first-party page-view counter on our own server. Details in the privacy policy.

The cabinets so far

  • Sky Runner — pilot a sleek prop plane through pastel skies and dodge the traffic — or shoot it down with your 100-round cannon. 90 seconds, five difficulty levels. Our first release, and still the crowd favorite.
  • Neon Breaker — a synthwave brick-breaker with combo scoring and five neon grids. It spent weeks on the homepage as a blurred teaser called "Project: Neon."
  • Tile Fuse — a merge puzzle on a glowing circuit board. Slide the chips, fuse the pairs, chase the legendary 2048 chip. Formerly the "Mystery Puzzle."

How each one was built — the design decisions, the physics, the mistakes — is written up on the dev log.

Want a team like this on your project?

If a three-person studio ships polished software like this for fun, imagine what we ship for clients. We build custom websites, rescue broken ones, and stay on as the webmaster so things keep working. Say hello at webmasterandmore.com or through our contact page.
