Guide the serpent to the glowing data packets. Every packet makes you longer and faster. Gold packets are worth five times more — but they don't wait around.

How to play

Circuit Serpent is the classic snake, rebuilt as a live circuit board. Steer the current, absorb data packets to grow, and survive as long as you can — the board speeds up as you get longer.

  • Desktop: arrow keys or WASD. Press P to pause.
  • Phone / tablet: swipe anywhere on the board in the direction you want to turn.
  • You can't reverse into yourself — the serpent ignores 180° turns.

Scoring

  • Data packet (green): +10 points, +1 length, and the current flows a little faster.
  • Gold packet: +50 points — but it appears rarely and vanishes after a few seconds. Detouring for gold is the whole risk/reward of the game.
  • Your best score is saved on your device (nowhere else — see our privacy policy).

Tips from the lab

  • Hug the walls early. An empty middle is escape room for later, when you're twenty segments long.
  • Plan exits, not entrances. Before you take a packet in a corner, know which way you're leaving.
  • Queue your turns. Two quick inputs make a clean U-turn; one late input makes a short circuit.
